Court Proceedings

Brown County District Court

• Haley H.D. Gregor, 23, 1010 1/2 German St. S. was charged with a gross misdemeanor charge of introducing contraband into jail, a petty misdemeanor charge of small marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 9. A court date has not yet been set.

According to court documents, New Ulm Police were parked near 2nd St. N. and German St. at 12:20 a.m. April 7 when they noticed the loud exhaust of a 1998 blue and black Acura Integra traveling north on German St. Police stopped the vehicle and identified a male driver. A female passenger, Gregor, described as “squirrelly,” would not look at officers and had an active warrant as recent as April 6, 2021.

When being taken into custody, Gregor would not step away from the vehicle or unplug her cell phone that was plugged into the car. Police removed a small, plastic baggie with a green, flakey substance, consistent with marijuana, from Gregor’s right hand.

At the Brown County Law Enforcement Center, the green, flakey substance tested positive for THC. The marijuana weighed .5 grams on an uncertified scale.

A correctional officer found a small, green pipe while searching Gregor, who admitted using the pipe for THC. Searching her clothing, correctional officers found a small, pink container with paper folded in it and a trace of THC under the paper. Gregor admitted storing drugs in the container.
