A pair of New Ulm United Soccer Club members help turn in the aluminum cans collected for the club at New Ulm Steel and Recycling.

NEW ULM — The New Ulm United Soccer Club hosts two trailers for aluminum can recycling in New Ulm. One trailer is at Hy-Vee and the other at Cash Wise. Thank you to these stores for allowing these trailers to be near their locations and the recycling collection areas.

Since the Stay At Home order,the soccer club volunteers have noticed a significant increase in the amount of cans in the donation trailer. The club would like to sincerely thank all of the families, soccer and others, that put their cans in these trailers. Volunteers have had to empty the trailers more often which is a good thing for the club and recycling efforts in the community.

Just a reminder, the trailers are for aluminum cans. Please do put aluminum foil, glass or plastic bottles in the trailers.
