SpecSys Inc. challenge

Food shelves are a vital resource in our communities and a lifeline for people who struggle with hunger. During critical times, food shelves can receive less than half of the normal expected donations because nervous families hold on to what they have. Even more importantly, grocery stores and other organizations, that normally donate large volumes of food and unsold inventory, have less or nothing left to donate because they lack the inventory necessary to meet demand. SpecSys, Inc. would like to challenge the New Ulm community to meet these record demands with record donations. To get the community started, SpecSys has donated $2,500 to the New Ulm Area Food Shelf. Brad Kirk, the food shelf executive director, is pictured above with the donaton. With an increased need and shortage of donations it is important now more than ever to make sure to assis the local food shelf and charities if able. Whether it’s time or money, SpecSys encourages everyone to give back to the community in some way and show we are in this together
