Laurie Groebner presented Kathryn Tatnall, the Children’s Librarian at the New Ulm Public Library, the following books; We Don’t Eat Our Classmates, Don’t Blink, and Blue on behalf of the Wanda Gag House Association. The books were awarded the 2019 Wanda Gag Read Aloud Book Award by the Curriculum Materials Center at Minnesota State University Moorhead. The award is given for the best picture book/s of the year to read aloud to younger children from toddlers to age eight.
