Chemo Care Bags Donated

The New Ulm MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group and Thrivent have donated Chemo Care Bags to Virginia Piper Cancer Institute-New Ulm Medical Center. The care bag project was organized by Heidi Hagberg (NUMC employee and thirty-one consultant) and were packed by the New Ulm MOPS group, thanks to funding from a Thrivent Action Grant. The bags are filled with special items to help provide comfort during treatment for new oncology patients.
