Avid area gardener Duane Kolbe of East Linden Township recently made his 4th annual donation of 3,000 pounds of organic-grown butternut squash to three area food shelves— New Ulm, Mankato and St. James. Kolbe attributes his gardening prowess to “a kind Mohter Nature,” together with a generous application of TLC.
