Runnings gives to Cancer Institute

Runnings Home, Farm and Outdoor Store announced that its recent Ladies Night promotion generated $19,306 to support the fight against breast cancer. The annual event, held each October, was attended by thousands of customers in more than 40 stores for a night of fun events, discounts and giveaways. During the evening, customers could buy a Runnings Cinch Bag for $1 and all proceeds from bag sale were donated to breast cancer research and education. Of the $19,306 raised, $350 was donated back to Virginia Piper Cancer Institute – New Ulm. Pictured below are: Amber Coil, Mandy Schwarzrock, Toni Breu – Runnings New Ulm and Vicky Beltz.
