Anna Mohr, a junior pharmacy major from New Ulm, is the 2018-19 recipient of the Barry and Sharon Markl Scholarship in Support of the Jackrabbit Guarantee at South Dakota State University.

She is the daughter of Marty and Sandy Mohr, of New Ulm, and a 2016 graduate of New Ulm Cathedral High School.

At State, she is involved in Student Collaboration for the Advancement and Promotion of Pharmacy, the College of Pharmacy curriculum committee, Chi Omega and peer mentoring for the college in addition to serving as a pharmacy intern at Lewis Drug.

Founded in 1881, South Dakota State University is the state’s Morrill Act land-grant institution as well as its largest, most comprehensive school of higher education.

SDSU confers degrees from seven different colleges representing more than 210 majors, minors and specializations. The institution also offers 36 master’s degree programs, 15 Ph.D. and two professional programs.
