The parents of Brynne Roeder and Anthony (Tony) Mielke announce their engagement.

Brynne is the daughter of Mark and Lisa Roeder of New Ulm. Tony is the son of Greg and Kathy Mielke of New Ulm and Marie Mielke and Tom Wheeler of New Ulm.

Brynne is a 2008 graduate of New Ulm High School and 2012 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Brynne is employed by Springfield Public Schools as a middle/high school math teacher in Springfield.

Tony is a 2005 graduate of New Ulm High School. Tony is self-employed and part owner of Premier Washing of New Ulm.

The wedding is planned for Oct. 22 in Chanhassen.
