Roger and Sharon Schiro of Gibbon announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Schiro to Andrew Eckerman, son of Tom and Paula Eckerman of Sauk Rapids and Susan Eckerman of Luxemburg.

Rachel is a 2008 graduate of GFW High School and graduated from Model College of Hair Design in St. Cloud in 2009.She is employed at Penazz Hair and Day Spa in New Ulm as an cosmetologist.

Andrew is a 2009 graduate of St. Cloud Tech High School. He is employed as a truck driver at Kottke Trucking in Buffalo Lake.

An Aug. 27, 2016 wedding is planned in Gibbon.
