Husband charged with murder in wife's stabbing in St. Paul

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — A St. Paul man is charged with fatally stabbing his wife, who had a protection order against him.
Fifty-nine-year-old Dah Eh Ray was charged Monday with second-degree murder in the death of his 58-year-old wife, Dah Dah Ray.
St. Paul police and firefighters were called a domestic disturbance and a possible house fire Saturday morning. An officer saw Dah Eh Ray, apparently intoxicated, walk out of the house with blood on his face, hands, shirt and glasses.
According to the complaint, Dah Dah Ray’s body was found on a bed, with a knife blade nearby. On her chest was a sheet of paper with “rest in peace” written in the Karen language.
Officers said someone also apparently had tried to start the carpet on fire.
Bail is set at $1 million. Dah Eh Ray makes his first court appearance Tuesday.
