MORGAN — Madelia defeated Cedar Mountain 24-26, 27-25, 25-19 and 25-18 on Thursday in nonconference volleyball action.

Faith Bergeman led the Blackhawks with 36 set assists, 2 digs and six kills. Lillian Mual added 16 set assists with 13 digs. Alayna Camplin had 15 digs and Alayna DeLaCruz had 24 kills.

Megan Sandgren led the Cougars with 25 kills and 27 digs. Trista Smith added 37 digs, eight kills and three blocks. Nadia Meyers added 25 digs and five kills. Emma Schouvieller added 34 set assists, three kills, and nine digs. Meg Trebesch added 17 digs.

Madelia (1-1) will host Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial on Thursday. Cedar Mountain will host Wabasso on Thursday.

St. Clair 3, GFW 0

WINTHROP — St. Clair swept Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop 25-22. 26-24, and 25-18 on Thursday in a nonconference volleyball match.

Hannah Panitzke had 10 killsand 18 digs for GFW while Grace Swenson had eight kills. Abby Neuman had four blocks. Miah Busse added 18 digs.

GFW will play at Norwood-Young America on Tuesday.

Redwood Valley 3, Springfield 0

REDWOOD FALLS — Redwood Valley swept Springfield 25-15, 25-17 and 25-22 on Thursday in a nonconference volleyball match.

Brittany Rogotzke had 14 digs, Eva Mark added 11 set assists with nine digs and Cora Wahl had four kills with twwo blocks. Courtney Wendthad five kills and 10 digs. Sarah Dunn added six set assists with five digs.

Springfield (0-2) will host Westbrook-Walnut Grove on Tuesday.
