New Ulm track and field competes at MSU Thursday
MANKATO — The New Ulm track and field team competed at the Mankato West quad at MSU on Thursday.
For the girls, New Ulm’s Paige Kalis finished first with a 7.77 in the 60-meter dash. Kalis also finished second in the long jump with (15-05.5).
In the 400, Elisabeth Cooper took fourth (1:09:61). In 60-meter hurdles, Michelle Rosenhammer finished second with a 9.23.
In 4×200-meter relay, New Ulm finished third (1:58:74). In the 4×400, New Ulm took fifth with a 4:57:09.
In the high jump, Olivia Owens finished second (5-02). She also finished second in triple jump (32-07.5).
In the pole vault, Erika Ebert finished fifth (8-06). Jessica Miller took third in the shot put (30-06).
For the boys, Justin Fuhrman finished second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 54.96, while Sean Howk finished fourth (55.87). In 60-meter hurdles, Matthew Schlieman finished fifth (9.15). Schlieman was also fourth in the triple jump (35-08).
New Ulm took fourth in the 4×200-meter relay (1:45.25) and fifth in the 4×400 (3:56.05). In the 1600 sprint medley, New Ulm finished fourth (4:20.32).
Wyatt Huard finished fifth in the long jump (18-10), while Connor Gag took fourth in the shot put (42-04).
