I just saw the NUMBER of people out of work: 15 million. That is just staggering. What is it we make anymore in this country that will create 15,000,000 jobs? Tain't Starbucks, nohow anyway.

Let's see...70% of the economy WAS driven by consumers. But, unemployment is now around 10% officially and closer to 13 or 14% with underemployed and those who have just given up, factored in. Tough to drive an ecomomy with 13% of the people out of work and the other 87% scared out of their panteloons. Gonna' be a long time comin' back, folks. How long? Oh, about five years, give or take a year. So, I vote "no".
