As much as I love watching the Vikings and the Twins...I don't believe tax money should go for stadiums...They make enough money on their own to pay for it...

I hope the Vikings will not move because of the stadium issue. People should read and look up what they bring to our economy even providing jobs for some of us. I agree that the stimulus plan went to big business (usually what the Republicans are accused of). Lets help a local business with Headquarters here.

People didn't have a problem with the president's several stimulus programs which is our tax dollars going to a variety of programs (and many weren't needed or made much sense) but something that would really stimulate the economy as in jobs for building the thing, people vote against.

The Twin Cities get everything. I think the Vikings should move to New Ulm--kind of be the Green Bay of Minnesota. Players would open local bars and ride scooters around town, and local gals would bake cookies for the team after practice. It would start a whole new trend in the NFL--make it less violent and no longer based soley on hubris. I can feel the warm fuzzies even now. The New Ulm Vikings!!!! Yes!!!!
