I think it's a wonderful program, and Obama is a wonderful President, and this is a wonderful country. I just want everyone to be happy and to get along. Together, we can make it through these tough times. And, in the end, there will be a pretty rainbow and these...oh, wow...drugs will wear off--but, until then, whoopie!!!

What happens after the program is over and no one wants to buy a car until the next bail out program?

This program should have never been allowed to subsidize foreign auto manufacturers like Toyota, Honda, Hundai, etc. Why US tax dollars are feeding companies who's profits go to Japan, Korea, etc. is beyond me.

what happens a year or two down the road when people trading in their perfectly good "clunkers" can't afford car payments for that brand new car...gee more bailout...and car lots full of repossessed cars...
