Hoffman is not a .200 hitter....he actually hits for average and also is a very streaky hitter..he has had some long hitting streaks in the minors and when he plays full seasons, he is near the top of most offensive categories. If he makes a MLB everyday lineup and is not used as pinch hitter, he will put up good enough numbers to contribute to any team.

Hoffmann is an excellent athlete. He would reach his potential with the Twins! A ton of value to get this kid cheap.

I'm with the voice... We need to get rid of delmon Young! We'd be getting another .200 hitter but at least Hoffmann has some speed. I understand that this will probably never become reality but it would be cool to see it happen!
