Transport Policy and the avoiding of wars

When Roosevelt made alliance with the Saudis (Malta 1945) he had no intention to foster creation of the reborn state of Israel. Truman, cognizant of scripture regarding Jerusalem & Israel, did support the May 15 1948 rebirth of Israel; called "The Disaster" by Mohammedanism, the religion of peace. America ignored Islamic intention to destroy Israel, creating postwar transport/economic policy on fuel intensive rubber tire transport, abandoning comprehensive railway links and rail based commercial distribution/warehousing methodology. with dependence on imported oil, America has become debtor nation, with hostile tanglements with Islam a way of life.
