You're female, so the answer is easy. Go to the makeup floor (usually the ground floor) in a major department store, and ask a salesperson at one of the counters to do your makeup for free. You may be surprised at what this can accomplish. And you can go to a different store another time. But be sure to go on a day when your hair looks okay!
