St. Paul police investigate apparent homicide

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — St. Paul police say the husband of a woman found dead in her home is a suspect in her death.
Police and paramedics were called to the home about 9:30 p.m. Monday. Officers found a man outside who said he was locked out. Officers spotted the woman on the floor inside the home and after entering, the 67-year-old was pronounced dead.
The man told officers the woman was his wife. Police say he is a suspect in her death. He was taken to Regions Hospital for evaluation.
An autopsy Tuesday is expected to determine the cause of death.
