BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. (AP) — Police say a suburban Twin Cities teenage mother missing along with her baby have been found in western Wisconsin.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says the 17-year-old girl and her 9-month-old daughter turned up in Hudson Wednesday morning.
Authorities in Brooklyn Center say both the girl and baby are wards of the state and that the child was taken from foster care and could be in danger if she didn't receive her anti-seizure medication.
Police believed the two may have been with the teen's father, who has previously been charged with assaulting her. There was no immediate word on the conditions of the mother and child.
