Victoria Mae Jenniges, age 54, of Wabasso, passed away surrounded by her family Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, August 25 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Wabasso.

Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the church with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

Vicky was born September 29, 1959 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota to Jack and Colleen (Wier) Fischer. She attended St. Anne's through the 6th grade and graduated from Wabasso High School in 1977. On November 4, 1978 she married Leonard Jenniges at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Vicky started providing daycare in 1985 and continued for the next 30 years. She was a member of St. Anne's CCW. She enjoyed attending numerous athletic events, especially her sons' Long Sox baseball games. Vicky had a passion for decorating, especially for her annual Christmas parties. She loved going to garage sales, shopping with her friends, scrapbooking, and getting her hair and nails done. Vicky also loved being with and spoiling her grandkids and her dogs Sam and Max.

Vicky is survived by her husband Leonard of nearly 36 years; son, Derrick (Ann) of Walnut Grove, Jacob (Sophie) of Walnut Grove, and Isaac (Tesa) of Lamberton; grandchildren, Addeson, Hadley, Easton, Hudsen, Jackson, Kendall, and Keegan. She is also survived by her parents Jack and Colleen Fischer of Wabasso; sisters, Sandy Fischer (Kolyn Prodoehl) of Renville, Cynthia (Jerry) Kotzenmacher of Inver Grove Heights, and Barb (Kris) Rogotzke of Wabasso; nieces and nephews; over 100 daycare children; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law Vincent and Irene Jenniges.
