Arthur Langlie

Arthur Norman Langlie, 95, Mankato, died Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Hillcrest Health Care Center.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, August 21, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Mankato.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Woodland Hills Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Art was born April 21, 1919 in Long Prairie to Clarence and Gunda (Bjerkaas) Langlie. He served in the United States Army and after his discharge worked as a mason. In his free time Art enjoyed bowling and ice fishing. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

He is survived by a sister, Claire Luskey of Inver Grove Heights; eight nieces; three nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.

Art is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Owen Langlie; sister in-law, Alice Langlie; brother in-law, Roger Luskey; and nephew, David Langlie.

Memorials are preferred to Disabled Veterans or Bethlehem Lutheran Church
