HANSKA - A walkoff RBI single by Kevin Larson in the bottom of the 10th inning secured a 6-5 extra-inning victory against Searles in the Region 2C tournament on Tuesday.
With the win, Hanska improved to 3-0 in round-robin play and will advance to the state amateur baseball tournament.
"I love this group of guys because they just never quit," said Hanska coach and center fielder Mikale Gustafson. "We've played every game down to the wire in the regions and they just never give up."

Gustafson picked Hanska up from an early 2-0 deficit with a bases-clearing two-out triple in the bottom of the fourth inning to give it a 3-2 lead.
"I was looking for a fastball down the middle and just trying to lift it," Gustafson said. "I got a little more on it and shot the gap with it."
Searles retaliated with three runs in the fifth inning - two of which came off Hanska starter Dalton Deinhart, who got the no-decision in 4 1/3 innings pitched.
After 3 2/3 innings from Gary Wilfahrt, the Lakers were boasted by Brady Mosenden, who notched two strikeouts in two innings to get the win.
The Lakers came back with one run in the eighth and one run in the ninth before Larson's walkoff RBI.
Springfield draftee Shaun Anderson took the loss for Searles, having given up two earned runs on nine hits in 9 2/3 innings pitched.
