WORTHINGTON - The New Ulm boy's golf team won the Section 3AA, South Subsection tournament Wednesday in Worthington with a team score of 311.
The Eagles will now compete in the Section 3AA meet May 29 at Oakdale Country Club in Buffalo Lake.
New Ulm's Corinne McKeeth and Julia Schaefer also advanced to the 3AA meet.

On the boy's side, Fairmont finished second with a team score of 333. Jackson County Central (341) and St. James (395) also competed at Wednesday's meet.
New Ulm's Kelton Schmitz was the overall medalist with a 75. Fairmont's Mitch Pfingsten shot a 77, New Ulm's Tanner Zupfer shot a 77, New Ulm's Ethan Kraus finished with a 77 and JCC's Joe Brinkman shot an 80 to lead the way.
Colin Huffman shot an 82 to round out the Eagles' scoring.
John Olsen led St. James with a 97. Tyler Witcraft and Ryan Witcraft each shot a 99 for the Saints.
The New Ulm girls finished third with a team score of 413. JCC won with a 355 and Fairmont shot a 395. St. James finished with a 446.
McKeeth led the Eagles with a 92 and Schaefer shot a 101. Kendra Clyne lost a playoff and finished with a 103 and Abby Froenhoultz shot a 117 for New Ulm.
Lyndsay Haler led St. James with a 103 and Julie Boeve shot a 105. Fairmont's Emily Kim led everyone with a 79 to take medalist honors.
