Joseph "Joe" Tyler Kenning, age 27, of Mankato, died Thursday, February 20, 2014 at his home after a courageous battle with bone cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, at Woodland Hills Chapel in Mankato. Interment will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday at Woodland Hills Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service.
Joe was born December 9, 1986 in Mankato, MN to John and Tisha (Peery) Kenning. He graduated from Mankato East High School. He worked at several places including All American Towing, Rodning Trucking, Kristico Trucking, Guentzel Trucking and Dahl Trucking. Joe enjoyed motorcycles, off roading, country music and most of all spending time with his family and spoiling his niece and nephew. He was a member of River Valley Off Roaders.
Joe is survived by his parents, John and Tisha Kenning; grandparents, Judy Peery of Mankato, Bud and Phyllis Kenning of Mankato, brothers Tony and Tim both of Mankato; sister, Anita Kenning of Mankato; niece Danica Kenning, daughter of Anita; nephew, Nicolas Schreurs, son of Tony Kenning; several aunts, uncles and cousins; his beloved pets, Gemini, Sophie, and Nala.
He was preceded in death by is great-grandparents.
