NEW ULM - Paul Stueber of Runnings has completed the STIHL Gold Level service training and is now a certified STIHL MasterWrench Service technician.
The STIHL MasterWrench Service program is a three-level service training process developed by STIHL Inc. for its more than 8,000 independent servicing dealers across the country. This program further improves the dealers' ability to respond to customers needs in the repair and maintenance of outdoor power equipment. The program focuses on product and systems information, the latest in technological developments, and service industry "best practices," as well as STIHL exclusive innovations. The program is not static a technician must renew their certification every three years in order to stay current.
Runnings has been providing outdoor power equipment and service to area customers since 1947. Runnings needed to meet certain criteria in order for the technician to advance to the Gold Level training.
A technician attending a Gold Level training class receives three days of intensive, advanced training. The final exam consists of actual product troubleshooting, a "hands-on" practical exam, and a written examination. Upon successful completion of the testing, the technician earns STIHL MasterWrench Service certification that is good for three years, is renewable, and belongs to the technician.
