North Central's Jamie High had a game-high 28 points.

After a made jumper from High with 13:11 left in the first half, MLC went on a run of 11-1 to go up 32-14 with eight minutes to go in the first half.

Of the 53 first-half points for the Knights, 18 of them were scored on second chance points as a result of 12 offensive rebounds.

Shelby Norman cut the MLC lead to 13 with 4:35 to play after a made jumper and two free throws, but that was as close as the Rams got the rest of the game.

MLC had one final run of 16-3 to close the first half as it took a 53-27 lead to the half.

The second half was more back and forth with the Knights not letting their lead slip below 20.

A 9-0 run late by the Rams put the deficit to 21, which was the closest it got in the second half.

The Knights travel to St. Scholastica on Friday.
