SLEEPY EYE - Mankato Loyola defeated Sleepy Eye Friday night in a nonconference boy's basketball game.
Brandon Polesky led Sleepy Eye with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Spencer Weicherding finished the game with 10 points.
Rilley Knutson led Mankato Loyola with 18 points.
Sleepy Eye (3-5) will play at Nicollet (1-4) on Jan. 2.
Cathedral girls 53,
St. Clair 46
ST. CLAIR - New Ulm Cathedral defeated St. Clair Friday in a non-conference girls basketball game.
Cathedral's leading scorer was Kristin Mohr, who had 16 points. Karlee Pfaff added 11 points for the Greyhounds.
No Stats were available for St. Clair.
Cathedral will travel to Lake Crystal/Wellcome Memorial on Jan. 2.
Wabasso boys 57, RRC 45
ADRIAN - The Wabasso boy's basketball team defeated Red Rock Central Friday in the Adrian Holiday Tournament.
Wabasso's Neil Eichten led the Rabbits with 21 points and Tanner Bock added 20 points.
RRC's Tom Blomgran scored 11 points. Sam Halter and Luke Engren each added 10 points.
Wabasso and RRC will continue tournament action Saturday in Adrian.
Wabasso girls 56, RRC 41
ADRIAN-Wabasso girls defeated Red Rock Central Friday in tournament play to move onto the championship.
Chelsey Guetter led Wabasso with 30 points, 12 rebounds and six steals. Karlee Eichten added 11 points and seven rebounds.
For RRC, Olivia Bittner scored 14 points and Brooke Rasmussen added 11 points.
Wabasso will play today at Adrian in the championship tournment game.
RRC will play at Adrian for third or fourth place.

Immanuel Lutheran 24
COMFREY - The Cedar Mountain/Comfrey girl's basketball team crushed Immanuel Lutheran Friday night in the first round of the Comfrey Holiday Tournament.
CM/C build on a 41-15 half time lead for the win. Keesha Barnes and Courtney Nelsen each scored 12 points for the Cougars.
BOLD cruised past Southwest United 70-39 in the first game of the tournament.
CM/C (5-1) will now play BOLD for the tournament championship at 7:30 p.m. Saturday Immanuel Lutheran will play Southwest United at 6 p.m.
