To the editor:
Are the Germans on the New Ulm City Council imposing an import tariff on fuel deliveries to our city, or why is it that gas is so much higher in New Ulm than everywhere else?
On a recent road trip to Northern Minnesota, every town that we drove through the entire way was selling gas 20 to 30 cents cheaper than in New Ulm. As I write, even all the small towns around New Ulm have cheaper gas... Sleepy Eye, Fairfax, Morgan, Courtland, etc.
Think about that next time you blindly fill up your tank in New Ulm.
