October 31, 2013
The Journal

NEW ULM - "Into the Woods," Stephen Sondheim's musical based on the Grimm Brothers' Fairy Tales, is being presented this weekend by the Martin Luther College Forum.

The play takes the characters from several familiar tales, such as Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood, and Jack and the Beanstalk. It sends their characters into "the woods" where their adventures intermingle.

The show features well-known Sondheim songs like "Tragedy," and "You Are Not Alone."
