Fall colors give warmth to autumn’s landscape

The dark crimson leaves of the sumac tree create a fiery sea of red in the autumn landscape. Although this sumac glows warmly in the wooded area near the Gislason Hunter law office on the southern edge of New Ulm, the transformation of leaves from green to brilliant golds, subtle scarlets and warm oranges not only heralds the fall season but also serves as a harbinger of the cold, winter months to come.
