NEW ULM - During its regular meeting Tuesday, the New Ulm City Council will consider a motion instructing the City Attorney to prepare an amendment to the City Code concerning liquor license violations and penalties.
The Council will also consider a resolution approving a development agreement with Heritage Regency House, LLC, for Tax Increment Financing District H -8 at 1520 Sunset Ave.
The Council will hear reports from the Board of Zoning Adjustment about
an application by Philip and Patricia Johnson for a variance from the City Code concerning the lot area and depth requirements on the property with a street address 322 N. Washington St.
an application by Timothy Rahe, a partner in Prairie Land Development, LLP, for a variance from the City Code to permit the construction of twin homes with a zero common wall setback on several lots, part of the proposed plat for the Fairhills Fifth Addition. (Street Address: 1306 -1320 Birchwood Dr.)
The Council will also hear a report from the Planning Commission about a petition by Rahe, on behalf of Prairie Land Development, LLP, to change some zoning designations from "agricultural residence" to "single and two-family residence" or "single-family residence."
The Council will hold the following public hearings at the beginning of the meeting:
On a resolution adopting the final assessment rolls for 2012 Utility, Street and Alley Improvements ?Group I.
On adopting the final assessment roll for the Minnesota River Levee Project.
The council meets at 5 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.
