BROWN COUNTY REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Notice is hereby given that Brown county will accept Proposals for specified group insurance benefits until 5:00 PM, September 5, 2013. Proposals will be opened at 10:00 AM on September 6, 2013. All Proposals shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, clearly identified as Insurance Proposals for Brown County.

Proposals are being requested for:

Group Hospital, Medical, Surgical & Prescription Benefits

Request for Proposals may be obtained from the Brown County Human Resources Office, Brown County, 14 S. State, PO Box 248, New Ulm, Minnesota 56073 after August 15, 2013.

Brown County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive formalities, and to make the award to the carrier that is best qualified to provide coverage and in the best interest of Brown County. Brown County desires a long-term relationship for this program and will maintain so, as long as cost and services are satisfactory.

NOTICE OF INFORMAL APPOINTMENT OF PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS (INTESTATE)

Notice is given that an application for informal appointment of personal representative has been filed with the Registrar. No will has been presented for probate. The application has been granted.

Notice is also given that the Registrar has informally appointed Lisa Ann Lehrmann, whose address is 310 Playhouse Street East, Cologne, Minnesota, 55322 as personal representative of the Estate of the Decedent. Any heir or other interested person may be entitled to appointment as personal representative or may object to the appointment of the personal representative. Unless objections are filed with the Court (pursuant to Minn. Stat. 524.3-607) and the Court otherwise orders, the personal representative has full power to administer the Estate including, after 30 days for the date of issuance of letters, the power to sell, encumber, lease or distribute real estate.

Any objections to the probate of the Will or appointment of the Personal Representative must be filed with this Court and will be heard by the Court after the filing of an appropriate petition and proper notice of hearing.

Notice is also given that (subject to Minn. Stat. 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the personal representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.

NOTICE OF DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (DBE) GOAL

New Ulm Municipal Airport has set a DBE goal of 2.09% for the FY2014/2015/2016 Airport Improvement projects. The projects are receiving federal grant dollars.
