NEW ULM - Brown County Fair events began Saturday morning with the 4-H horse show at the Brown County Fairgrounds

Held on the final day of the fair in past years, the horse show was moved up a week in order to avoid running longer than other events on the final day of the fair.

An open horse show for anyone will be held at 8 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 10 at the fairgrounds outdoor horse arena. A 4-H horse exhibition will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 11 in the outdoor arena.
