CST at which date and

time the bids will be

opened and read

aloud.

A pre-bid conference

will be held Thursday,

August 16, 2013 at 2

p.m. CST at Location

of the Work.

Project Scope: Instal-

lation of Steam Tur-

bine Generators (2).

See specification for

scope of work.

Bidders shall submit

their proposal on the

forms provided. Propo-

sal shall be filled in

clearly and correctly

with ink or typewriter.

Proposal shall be

signed in ink by the in-

dividual, members of

the partnership or by

one or more officers of

the corporation making

the proposal.

Bidding Documents

for a non-refundable

fee of $75.00 each.

For Documents that

must be mailed, the

total plan fee will be

$100.00 each, shipping

and handling included.

Design, Inc.

Bidders are required to

provide qualification in-

formation to the en-

gineer prior to receiv-

ing plans and specifi-

cations. The decision

to accept a prospec-

tive contractor as a

qualified bidder rests

completely with the

engineer. The prospec-

tive contractor agrees

to hold the City of

New Ulm and the en-

gineer harmless if con-

tractor is not allowed

to bid.

All bids shall be sealed

in an opaque envelope

upon which shall be

plainly marked "BID

and the name of the

bidder. If a bid is to be

mailed, the bid en-

velope shall be sealed

in a regular mailing en-

velope. FAX and

E-mail Bids will not be

accepted. The Owner

reserves the right to

hold and consider the

bids for 30 days after

the date of the bid

opening. Bids shall be

accompanied by a

cashier's check,

bidder's bond, or certi-

fied check payable to

NEW ULM PUBLIC

UTILITIES for not less

than five percent (5%)

of the amount of such

bid including

add-alternates. A

bidder's bond shall in-

clude certified copy of

the power of attorney.

The right to waive any

informality in any bid

and reject any or all

bids is reserved to the

Owner.
