Students in the Summer Blast Caritas middle school program set up a 400-cross display called the "Cemetery for the Innocents" at the corner of Highway 14 and Brown County Road 29 on the Catholic Cemetery grounds in New Ulm on Wednesday. The display, which will be up until July 24, memorializes babies that are aborted in the United States. The 400 crosses symbolize the 4,000 abortions that occur daily in America. The display has been set up 30 times in other locations, but this is the first time it has been displayed in Minnesota. The Summer Blast Caritas students are in grades six, seven and eight and are from the Holy Cross Area Family Community of the New Ulm area.
