Sleepy Eye girls 207, GFW 233

WINTHROP - Sleepy Eye downed Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop in both boys and girls golf Tuesday in a Tomahawk Conference meet.

Ben Laffen of Sleepy Eye was the medalist with a 47. Lauren Laffen of Sleepy Eye was the girls' medalist with a 46.

Anthony Schafer and Brandon Albrecht of GFW were the top boys' scorers with each having a 56. Alex Hillesheim carded a 47 for Sleepy Eye.

Emily Curtis led the Sleepy Eye girls with a 51. Kate Seehafer led GFW when she carded a 49.

Springfield girls 211, Cathedral 211

Springfield boys 180, Cathedral 238

NEW ULM - Springfield won a tiebreaker by the sixth golfer's score Tuesday in a Tomahawk Conference golf meet.

Cathedral's Brooke Dummer was the medalist with a 47 and Springfield was led by Shelby Schultz.

Christian Erickson led the Springfield boys with a 44 and Conner Jakes led Cathedral with a 47.

New Ulm 231,

St. James 234 (Monday)

ST. JAMES - New Ulm's Corinne McKeeth shot a 51 to lead the New Ulm girls to a South Central Conference golf win on Monday.

Tasha Holm shot a 58 and Julia Schaefer shot a 59.

New Ulm also competed at Fairmont on Tuesday. McKeeth led the way for the Eagles with a 46.
