Cougar boys win triangular

SANBORN - The Comfrey/Cedar Mountain boys won a triangular golf meet, while Wabasso won the girls meet Thursday.

C/MC took medalist honors in both the boy's and the girl's meet when Tristan Pietig carded a 42 and Courtney Nelsen scored a 48.

Chase Haase scored a 48 for Wabasso and Corey Hoffman had a 54 for Minnesota Valley Lutheran.

Briana Jenniges carded a 49 for Wabasso and Laura Albrecht scored a 53 for MVL.

SLEEPY EYE - Kansas Adams shot a 46 to medal and lead the Sleepy Eye St. Mary's golf team to a first place finish in the Tomahawk Conference quadrangular Thursday.

Tyler Netzke and Caleb Christensen (Sleepy Eye, 47), Connor Jakes (Cathedral, 55), and Brandon Albrecht (Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop, 53) were the lowest shooters for their respective teams.

Emily Curtis from Sleepy Eye medaled with a 43, and Sleepy Eye won the girls' quadrangular.

Mackenzie Schutz shot to lead St. Mary's, Brooke Dummer shot a 51 to lead Cathedral, and Katelyn Seehafer shot a 48 to lead GFW.
