HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY

GIVEN, that the City

Council of the City of

New Ulm, Brown

County, Minnesota will

meet in the Council

Chambers in the New

Ulm City Hall on Tues-

day, March 19,2013 at

5:00 p.m. to consider

ordering in the follow-

ing improvements, ex-

cept item 10 which

has previously been

approved to be made,

to-wit:

1. Franklin Street from

Center Street to 6th

South Street Recon-

struction of the exist-

ing water main, sani-

tary sewer main,

sewer and water end

services, storm sewer

extension and recon-

struction of the exist-

ing roadway section in-

cluding excavation and

replacement of

subgrade, aggregate

base, bituminous pav-

ing, concrete curb and

gutter, concrete drive-

way pavement, pedes-

trian sidewalk ramps,

street lighting and

selective replacement

of concrete sidewalk.

2. 5th South Street

from Jefferson Street

to Franklin Street

Reconstruction of the

existing roadway sec-

tion including excava-

tion and replacement

base, bituminous pav-

ing, storm sewer

reconstruction and

selective replacement

of concrete curb and

gutter and concrete

driveway pavement.

away from the PUC

repair the bituminous

abandoned sanitary

9. Alley Block 78 North

of Center Street

Reconstruction of the

existing commercial al-

ley pavement section

including grading, ag-

gregate base, bitumi-

nous surfacing, seven

inch (7") concrete alley

approach pavement,

miscellaneous remo-

vals and restoration.

10. Alley Block 88

North of Center Street

Grading, aggregate

base, bituminous sur-

facing, seven inch (7")

concrete alley ap-

proach pavement, mis-

cellaneous removals

and restoration neces-

sary to construct a

commercial alley pave-

ment section (improve-

ment petitioned).

pursuant to Minnesota

Statutes, Sections

429.011 to 429.111.

The area proposed to

be assessed for such

improvements is each

lot, piece and parcel of

property specially

benefited by said im-

provements. A reason-

able estimate of the

impact of the assess-

ment will be available

at the hearing. The to-

tal estimated cost of

the 2013 UTILITY,

STREET AND ALLEY

IMPROVEMENTS

GROUP I project is

$2,837,709.00. Such

persons as desired to

be heard with refer-

ence to the proposed

improvements will be

heard at this meeting.
