NEW ULM - The Brown and Nicollet County Dairy Associations annual meeting and princess coronation was held Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in New Ulm.

Katelyn Johnson and Molly Lax were named the 2013 Brown County Princesses at the event. 2012 Brown County Princess Laura Rosenhammer presented the crowns and sashes to the winners.

The 2013 Brown County Ambassadors were also named: Sabrina Portner, Becca Rosenhammer, Mary Rosenhammer, Bethany Seifert and Maggie Sellner.

The 2013 Nicollet County Ambassadors were Stacey Schugel and Megan Struss. No Nicollet County princess as named since a contestant must be a Senior in high school and no eligible Senior applied this year.

Additionally, the 90-pound butter sculpture of last year's princess was on display at the event. She received it for being a finalist for the Princess Kay of the Milky Way contest last August. It will be displayed at the Minnesota State Fair.
