NEW ULM - The District 88 Board of Education on Thursday will consider authorization to seek quotes on liability/property insurance for 2013-14.
The current provider is EMC Insurance, with the agent of record being Brown/Brown of Mankato. The current annual premium is $161,484.
The board is also expected to approve amended policies on parking, reflecting the change to paid parking at the high school, and on graduation requirements, reflecting the change to a six-period day and semesters, rather than quarters.
During dialog time, the board will hear a presentation from Tracie Vranich about the ISD 88 Foundation.
The board will also hear a report on a study session related to the search of a new superintendent and a report from a teacher evaluation task force, in addition to regular committee reports.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the District Administrative Center.
