ST. CLAIR - The Minnesota Valley Lutheran girls' basketball team won the consolation championship at the St. Clair Holiday Tournament by defeating Tri-City United on Saturday.
Anna Munsen had a team-high 16 points for the Chargers. Martha Johnston added 10 points and eight rebounds and Alexa Alfred contributed six points and 11 rebounds.
Molly Ehlers scored a team-high nine points for the Titans.
MVL (10-1) will host Sleepy Eye St. Mary's on Friday for a Tomahawk Conference match-up.
