The 2013 Energy Assistance Program year began in October. Applications are being accepted for the 2012-2013 heating season. Grants are based on household size, household income, and heating costs from the prior heating season. Eligible households may be eligible for furnace repairs or replacements with prior authorization.
This program considers current income. There is no asset test. Maximum eligible incomes are based on three-month gross income. They are:
