GIBBON - Marjorie "Marge" Pautz, 91, of Gibbon died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 at the Southview Living Center in Gibbon.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon with Pastor Michael Gorte officiating. Burial will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Marjorie Anita Pautz was born April 15, 1921 in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa to Herman and Bertha (Schlueter) Kruggel. She was baptized as an infant in Thorton, Iowa and was confirmed June 9, 1935 in Zion Lutheran Church in Winthrop. She graduated from Winthrop High School. Marge was married to Harry William Pautz on April 27, 1941 by Pastor C.W. Kuehner in Winthrop. They had two children; Brian R. Pautz of Gibbon and Faye P. Case of Minnetonka.
Marge and Harry spent their early married years in California. She worked in a radio tube factory while Harry served in the military. They lived in Gibbon the rest of their married life. Marge worked with Harry in the family business, Gibbon Salvage. She also worked at Kraft, Northern Insulation, and the Gibbon Elementary School. Marge enjoyed travels to Europe, Alaska, and many national bowling tournaments across the United States. She loved baking, playing cards, going to baseball games, reading, and being with her friends and family. Marge was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon and was a member of the Ladies Guild. She served as an election judge for the city of Gibbon for many years.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry Pautz in 1975; brothers, Norman and Theodore Kruggel; sisters-in-law, Leona Kruggel, Arlene Kruggel, Esther Claesson; brother-in-law and his spouse, Walter and Aleda Pautz; nieces, Elaine and Jean Kruggel; spouse of niece, Alan Kalk; great nephews, Matthew and Dale Kruggel; and great niece, Melissa Sue Kruggel. She is survived by her brother, David Kruggel of Apple Valley; sister-in-law, Delores Kruggel of Winthrop; son, Brian Pautz and his wife, Mavis; daughter, Faye Case and her special friend, Bob Gardner; grandchildren Jonathon (Angela) Pautz and their children, Tyler and Kristina Maines; Paul (Jennifer) Pautz and their children, Abigal, Zachary, and Emmy Jo; James Pautz and his son, Bentley; Darwin Case (special friend, Andrea Lockman) and their children, Lauren and Zachary; Michael (Paulette) Case and their children, Grant and Ella; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Memorials are preferred to New Ulm Hospice and Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon.
