SPRINGFIELD - The River Valley wrestling team fell 48-27 to Tracy-Milroy-Balaton/Westbrook-Walnut Grove Tuesday.
River Valley was forced to forfeit at numerous different weight classes, but aside from that wrestled very well.
Both Mario Gomez and Issai Ramirez won by fall, while Conner Bertram (7-6), Sam Baier (5-4), and Gerritt Meidl (9-2) also prevailed for the Wildcats.
River Valley drops to 1-2 on the season and will wrestle this weekend at the Redwood Riot.
