NEW ULM - Kirk Friesner, 50, of New Ulm died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm.

Kirk is survived by his wife, Julie Friesner of New Ulm; sons, Joshua and Andrew Friesner of New Ulm; sisters and brother-in-law, June and Mike Beason of Rapid City, S.D., Bonnie Friesner of Custer, S.D.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rick and Lisa Friesner of Columbus, Ind., Kent and Linda Friesner of Champlin; mother-in-law, Doris Sandmann of Morgan; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; and by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Amy Murphy; nephew, Shane Murphy; and father-in-law, James Sandmann.
Kirk Allan Friesner was born Sept. 1, 1962 in Jackson to Gerald and Wanda (Summers) Friesner. He graduated from Mankato State University with a degree in Computer Science and worked various jobs in the computer industry. On Nov. 10, 1984, Kirk was united in marriage to Julie Sandmann in Morgan. Kirk loved to make people laugh and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family.
