ORANGE CITY, Iowa - Minnesota Valley Lutheran graduate and Northwestern College's Brandon Smith was named Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) First Team All-Conference for the third consecutive year.
Smith led the GPAC in rushing with 1,415 yards and finished his collegiate career with 4,208 yards rushing, placing him third all-time in Red Raider history.
Smith led the conference with 23 touchdowns in 2012 and had 55 career touchdowns, placing him second in school history. He was just three shy of the all-time mark set by Dave Perrigo in 2001. He is a three-time All-American selection and will play in the NAIA vs. Division II All-Star game on Dec. 15 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
