NEW ULM - The District 88 Board of Education on Monday will consider approval of a fee structure for community education classes.
The recommendation is for 20 percent of the fee to be credited to Community Education to recover advertising costs and 80 percent to be paid to the class instructor.
The board will also consider hiring a new mental health coordinator following a resignation.
The board will consider hiring two new elementary teachers as literacy coaches, following confirmation of eligibility for literacy aid by the Minnesota Department of Education.
Another matter concerns the purchase of a replacement dump truck. Quotes have been received from three local dealers. The cost was included in this year's budget.
The board meets at 7 p.m. Monday at the District Administrative Center.
