November 16, 2012
The Journal

NEW ULM - The Brown County Planning and Zoning Office is seeking public input for an update to the Local Comprehensive Water Management Plan.

The updating process will start with a meeting on Monday, Nov. 26, from 3-4:30 p.m. at the Brown County Board of Commissioners Room 201 of the Courthouse in New Ulm.

Brown County officials encourage all local and state agencies, non-governmental organizations and concerned residents to participate.

The county is not completely revising the existing Water Plan, but it is looking for input on improvements, deletions or additions.

Persons unable to attend the open house are invited to send comments by Friday, Dec. 7, to the Brown County Planning and Zoning Office at the Brown County Courthouse at 14 S. State St., New Ulm, MN 56073.

For more information, call the Brown County Water Planner at (507) 233-6641.

The existing 2008-2018 Brown County Comprehensive Local Water Management Plan is available on-line at:
